It's fact, that world-wide Ice Hockey Rules and
Regulations are written Only for the referees and
coaches to evaluate the winning team. Even today,
after 100 years of the history of this game, these rules
and regulations say nothing about HOW to develop
and evaluate players individual hockey techniques.
For me it's a courageous idea to inject an
unconventional, creative and innovative approach,
based on biomechanical principles of rationality,
effectiveness, and economical moves into players
individual skills mastery.
Since 1973 I have been a pioneer and leader, who
first designed and presented athletic machinery,
"GYM on ICE", completely different and much a
more advanced approach, than the traditional power
skating or conditioning training widespread in North
America and Europe.
I am proud to have been the first to have opened in
North America, (1973) a private hockey school,
sharing my ideas, expertise, experience from
gymnastics, and figure skating with hockey players.
Now, after 38 years of working with hockey players, I
am planning to continue my Master-Classes in Canada and Sweden.
It's a rare accomplishment to be acknowledged by
the hockey press. (click here) No other privately
operated school in North America has that record! (click here)
I can claim that hundreds of hockey schools, camps,
and team camps around the world have incorporated
my ideas. I am proud to have been the first who
successfully presented these ideas in my books -
"From Zero to Hockey Hero" (1993), "Hockey
Agility" (1997) and "Mastering Hockey Agility"
(1998) and have become a leader of this world-wide
industry.
